Beringia is a development-driven brand that creates technical apparel for outdoor enthusiasts. Inspired by the ancient techniques of ecstasy that defined humanity's spiritual connection to nature, the company draws on the collective experience of mountain professionals from around the world to design products that can withstand the extreme conditions of the Arctic region. Using custom yarns, threads, and textiles developed in partnership with renowned textile minds, Beringia creates high-performing fabrics that allow users to explore the outdoors in the most direct and unmediated fashion. The brand's mission is to pursue lost worlds and secret spots, building beautiful and functional apparel that merges fire and ice, past and future, and night and day.
Visual Identity
The brand was named after the ancient landmass that connected the continents 2.5 million years ago, which inspired us to think along the lines of the possible inhabitants of the area and the idea of ancient pictograms they might have used. With that concept being at the core of the explorations, we also wanted to give a nod to the name itself and the landscapes for which the apparel is designed. Depending on the orientation of the final mark, it can be viewed as either a letter B or a mountain range.
